Abstract

Ensuring the safety of food products remains a global challenge, requiring advanced control methods such as biosensors, electronic analyzers ("electronic nose/tongue"), and non-destructive technologies. Of particular concern are antibiotic residues in milk, which contribute to the development of antimicrobial resistance. The authors explore alternative approaches, including phytogenic feed additives for the prevention of bovine mastitis. The need for rapid testing methods and updating regulatory frameworks to enhance food quality and safety is emphasized
