Abstract

When landscaping and growing species of trees and shrubs in green areas, the issues of protection against fires, pests and diseases are becoming more relevant. Forest protection, the field of theoretical knowledge, including the scientific substantiation and development of a set of rules, methods and technologies for protecting forests and other forestry facilities (nurseries, forest crops, plantings, etc.) and forest products from pests, diseases and fires, as well as the field of activity of their application in the forest industry. The purpose of forest protection is to support, preserve and increase the ecological and resource potential and biological diversity of forests.
