TECHNOLOGY OF LEGUME CULTIVATION
Keywords:
legumes, dry steppe zone, soil preparation, optimal sowing time, yield.Abstract
The cultivation of legumes in the dry steppe zone of Kazakhstan requires an integrated approach that takes into account the peculiarities of climate and soil. In order to improve the quality of hayfields and provide sufficient animal feed, livestock breeders are advised to use grass-bean mixtures, which have a higher nutrient content and ensure a good hay harvest. It is also important to pay attention to the proper fertilization of crops in order to provide the plants with the necessary nutrients. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of climate and soil conditions when choosing fodder crops and methods of tillage. All this will help to improve the efficiency of haymaking and increase feed yields. The main aspects include deep plowing to improve the soil structure, the selection of drought-resistant varieties, the observance of optimal sowing dates, as well as the use of methods of careful care and economical watering. The use of modern agricultural technologies, such as drip irrigation, helps to increase yields and water resource efficiency. These measures make it possible to adapt to arid conditions and ensure the sustainable development of the agricultural sector in the region.
