Author Guidelines

REQUIREMENTS FOR FORMATTING MATERIALS

The article should be formatted with the following margins: indentation from the edge of the page — 2.0 cm. Font size — 11 pt, line spacing — 1.0, font family — Arial.

Structure of a Scientific Article

The structure of a scientific article must include the following elements:

MRNTI index (International Rubricator of Scientific and Technical Information) — indicated on the left side of the page. To assign an MRNTI index to the article, use the website www.grnti.ru.

Author information — written one line below, centered:

  • initials and surname of the author(s) (first initials, then surname — e.g., A.K. Kaliev), font — semi-bold;

  • place and address of work of the author(s) — name of the university (organization), city, country;

  • contact information (e-mail) of the corresponding author.

Title of the article (heading) — provided after one blank line, in bold, centered. It must accurately reflect the content, be brief and concise. Abbreviations in the title are not allowed.

Abstract — a brief presentation of the main essence of the research, methods and objects of study, the most important results, their significance, and scientific and practical value. The abstract is placed one line below the title in italics. Abstract length — 150–300 words.

Keywords — intended for searching the article and defining its subject area. Number of keywords — 5–8, formatted in italics.

Main text of the article — after one blank line:

  • Introduction — showing relevance;

  • Research conditions and methods;

  • Research results;

  • Discussion of scientific results;

  • Conclusion;

  • The reference list must contain at least 10 sources; at least 50% of them must be from foreign sources. If the article is submitted in Kazakh or Russian, a transliterated reference list must also be provided (use http://translit-online.ru for transliteration).

Funding information (if applicable).

At the end of the article, provide full surname, first name, patronymic (if any), academic degree, title, place of work of the author(s); name of the university (organization), city, country; contact information (e-mail) for each author; the title of the article; abstract; keywords in two languages different from the language of the article (Kazakh/Russian and English).

The volume of materials should generally be not less than 3 pages and not more than 8 pages, including text, figures, and tables.

In one issue of the journal, an author may publish no more than two articles, including co-authored ones.

The number of authors must not exceed 5 people.

Figures, maps, photographs, tables, and formulas are recommended to be prepared using computer technologies and placed in the article as they are mentioned. Figure numbers are indicated with Arabic numerals, and the figure title is centered below the figure (Figure 1 – Figure title).

Tables are presented in the text after the first reference to them or on the next page. The table number and title are placed on the left side of the page (Table 1 – Table title). If a table is continued on the next page, the columns are numbered, and on the next page the continuation is indicated on the right side (Continuation of Table 1).

Procedure for formatting references:

  • references are listed in the order they appear in the text;

  • within the text, the reference number is given in square brackets;

  • references must be formatted in accordance with GOST 7.1-2003 “Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of compilation”;

  • in the reference list, provide the full list of authors of each source (without using “et al.”);

  • the reference list must contain at least 10 sources; at least 50% of them must be from foreign sources. If the article is submitted in Kazakh or Russian, a transliterated reference list must also be provided (use http://translit-online.ru for transliteration).

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
