Author Guidelines

REQUIREMENTS FOR FORMATTING MATERIALS

The article should be formatted with the following page margins: indentation from the edge of the sheet – 2.0 cm. Font size – 11, line spacing – 1.0, font family – Arial.

Structure of a scientific article

The structure of a scientific article must include the following elements:

- IRSTI index (International Rubricator of Scientific and Technical Information) – indicated on the left margin of the page. To assign an IRSTI index to the article, it is necessary to use the website www.grnti.ru.

- Information about the authors – written after a blank line and centered:

- Initials and surname of the author(s) of the article (first initials, then surname – M.M. Omarov), font – bold;

- Place of work of the author(s) – name of the university (organization), city, country;

- Contact information (e-mail) of the corresponding author.

- Article title (headline) – after a blank line, in bold, centered, written in uppercase letters. It must accurately reflect the content, be brief and concise. Abbreviations in the title are not allowed.

- Abstract – a brief presentation of the main essence of the research, methods and objects of research, the most important results, their significance, scientific and practical value. The abstract is placed after a blank line following the title, in italics. Abstract length – 150–300 words.

- Keywords – intended for searching the article and determining its subject area. Number of keywords – 5–8, formatted in italics.

- Main text of the article – after a blank line:

- Introduction – reflection of relevance;

- Conditions and research methods;

- Research results;

- Discussion of scientific results;

- Conclusion;

- Funding information (if available).

- At the end of the article, provide the initials and surname, academic degree, title, place of work of the author(s); name of the university (organization), city, country; contact information (e-mail) for each author; article title; abstract; keywords in two languages different from the language of the article (Kazakh/Russian, English).

As a rule, the volume of materials should not be less than 5 pages and not more than 8 pages (including text, figures, tables). Review articles must be at least 10 pages.

The number of authors must not exceed 5 people.

Figures, maps, photographs, tables, formulas are recommended to be prepared using computer technologies and placed in the article in the order they are mentioned. The serial numbers of figures are indicated in Arabic numerals; the figure title is centered under the figure (Figure 1 – Figure title).

Tables are presented in the text of the article after the first reference or on the next page. The number and title of the table are placed on the left side of the page (Table 1 – Table title). If a table is continued on the next page, columns are numbered, and on the next page the continuation is indicated on the right side (Continuation of Table 1).

Procedure for formatting references:

- references are arranged in the order they are cited in the text;

- in the text, the serial number of the cited work is indicated in square brackets;

- references must be formatted in accordance with GOST 7.1-2003 “Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of compilation”;

- when formatting the reference list, provide the full list of authors of the publication (without “et al.”);

- the reference list must contain at least 10 titles, of which at least 50% must be from foreign sources. If the article is submitted in Kazakh or Russian, a transliterated reference list must be provided (for transliteration use http://translit-online.ru).

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
